Buy This CD!
I have been listening to the new "Live at Shea Stadium" CD from The Clash pretty much non-stop for the last two days. It is so freakin' great. The disc is taken from a 1982 concert in New York when The Clash opened for The Who (David Johansen also played). The tapes were recently restored, and they sound great. If you've seen the Clash video for "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" then you've seen some footage from this legendary gig. There is also limited edition version of this set that comes with a DVD. This was pretty much the last "real" Clash tour, as Mick Jones was fired afterward, and the band was never really the same.
